TAMBUNAN VILLAGE RESORT CENTRE

We reach Tambunan around four in the afternoon with real heavy rain welcoming us.(REAL REAL HEAVY!)
Rocky and his 'girls' , Flo and Nicole were already there when we reached the 'village'.
We all had tea ( milo ...) at the only stall nearby while waiting for the rain to stop.
Unfortunately,it never did cos it rained through out the night.
The last trip I was there, the road towards the houses was accessable. Unlike now. The swift river has been erodding it's banks that part of the road is now swallowed by the river itself. We therefore had to leave our vehicles a distant away.
Across the hanging bridge, it was still about a five minutes walk to the 'rooms' that we had booked. A four adjoining rooms in one building.Unlike the others 'rooms' ours were the only one that is made of concrete and air conditioned. It was priced at RM98 per night.
Tambunan is a place which experience very 'nice' weather. That means it's not very hot during the day and 'comfortable cool' at night.

The front view of our rooms. Beautiful view of the man made lake. Would be wounderful fishing site...if only we brought along fishing rods

The main attraction..... feeding the fishes

or for the more adventurous .....paddling while feeding.
It's a sight to see how the fishes follows the boat around or the 'fun' faces of the cousins when they got 'splahed' around.
