This time around, I was not really bothered with the event. It's not so much because I was away from 'home' where the real 'buzz' was but more so because, I felt that it would be a 'waste' my time  uploading photographs and writing about it only to find later on  the pictures parts gone blank.
So...this year I'm just pasting what appeared on Borneo Post

On a note - I did not picked KK as my winner . I see her as  missing 'something' even at the time  she won DBKK's title....I had thought Tg Aru was more outstanding then.

On the final seven, I had actually picked Ranau as the winner...unfortunately on the day of competition, she did not look her 'normal' self. The hairstyle just draw all minus signs for her.
 - come to think of it , everyone had 'bad hairdo' that day. They all seems so fake ...so unnatural

I have said all that I need to say in regards to the two finalist so I'm just pasting news from the net.

FOX: Who Won American Idol Results Last Night 2013?

FOX: Who Won American Idol Results Last Night 2013 winner results top 2

ST LOUIS (LALATE) – Who won American Idol results last night 2013 for the top 2, who is the American Idol 2013 winner? Candice Glover won American Idol last night beating out country singer Kree Harrison. It was a major moment to launch the careers of the top 2 singers. But for Fox, it was also a major milestone as the network tries to reassess what is wrong with its ailing franchise as the show goes from number one in the ratings into a tailspin.

When American Idol results last night were announced, the show was far different than back in 2007. That was the last time a female won the show. When Jordin Sparks’ season debuted, it drew a record 41 million viewers. American Idol was the number on show on television, keeping its broadcaster Fox at the top of the ratings. At the time, the show seemed to be unbeatable in its ratings, format, and ability to launch careers.
But slowly the show fell apart. Gone were Simon Cowell and Paula Abdul. Many fans became bothered with Randy Jackson.
Season to season, Fox tried to jumpstart the show. Brought in this season were new judges with unprecedented salaries. The big checks didn’t work. Nor did their big feuds. Even former winners like Fantasia denounced the judges’ bickering this season.
Amidst the programming mess of Idol, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison impressed viewers. The singers were arguably the best final two singers on the show in years. Last night, Glover became the first female winner since Sparks’ win in season six. Glover followed a similar path, pushing R&B vocals that mesmerized fans, compared to Harrison who championed country tunes.
After her win last night, Glover talked about how she had tried out several times before the show. “I think everything happens for a reason,” she said. “And I don’t think I would’ve made it as far [in past seasons] as I did this season because I didn’t know who I was at all and I was just auditioning because I was a 19-year-old girl who happened to know how to sing.”
She also told news “This year, I am more of an artist and I do know myself a little bit better so I don’t think I would have done as well.”Glover’s song “I Am Beautiful” impressed fans and judges on Wednesday night. Many felt it was one of the best coronation songs for Idol in many years.

MOTHER'S DAY 2013

There were celebration in church for mother's day today but I did my own celebration ...doing the everyday things that I have done everyday..... at home :)

I believed that mother's day should be celebrated not just today but everyday.
However 'running in parallel ' with the world, I too have received happy mothers day wishes from my precious girls through my FB account.

Tisha made an extra effort in the form of her drawings with her posting......

Drew a lil something specially for @jean. You are the best mother and best friend ever. We're very fortunate to be blessed with someone as caring and loving as you. I always pray to God for your long live. Happy Mother’s Day to you and to all mothers out there.

LAST "BUMP" ON AI

.

Hehehehe.... I have many a times said that I'm good at 'picking' a potential  winner.
Well , at least that is what I want to believe this time around. ( :(  seems every year I got it 'wrong' on the finals)

This year, my 'horse' has just gotten into the final round.
I caught a small laugh with Amber's elimination last week because amongs the four, she was the one I would picked to go off first.....and she did!

Tonight I laughed again when Ryan announced it was Angie's turn . Yesss!!!..
With her gone, the path for Kree now became smaller and straighter.
Not that I don't feel Angie has got what it takes to be the winner, Because like I have said earlier , she actually has 'everything' to be the winner.
Unfortunately with reality shows , it's the ordinary people that become judges.  The whole show turned into a popularity contest instead  so anyone can become winners......Even ones who doesn't  have the 'IT' factor..

Angie painted the same look as Chris Daughtry's (idol 5) at the time when he was eliminated ....at the exact same 'level' (final three) . My guess was they both knew how good they were and was not expecting to exit until the finale .
Anyhow....people were shocked that Angie got eliminated, but they know the final two are worthy of being in the finale as well.

Singing her going away song, “Never Gone,”  she was crying throughout, and then giggling and apologizing.
Poor girl, she must have felt her 'world' ended there and then.

Kree was shocked that it was Angie that got sent home

To underestimate Candice's chances as idol is something that no one should do.  She is in to win it. She has been nothing but consistently and ridiculously good week after week.
I won't be disappointed , neither would anyone I supposed should she win.
Between her and Kree, she is obviously the 'technically' better singer. BUT...let's not jump the gun yet and just let them Americans settle this themselves next week.

Candice is already the winner in many people's eyes..

####
I still would like Kree to win probably because she has this 'innocent/sad' look that makes you see her as someone very humble/down to earth/ ordinary/ one of us kind of person :) - ( while Angie on another note,  portraits the exact opposite ....which I feel was why she was not so popular with the crowd in the end)

CAKE MODE

Looking at the bunch of bananas that mom gave turning black in color gave me the urge to do some baking. Actually with a little urge from Lydia. She said it's been a while since I last baked a banana cake. egh...this is how she longed for the cake.....one sitting she reshaped the cake to  resemble the letter 'L'

MY THOUGHTS ON AI 2013

It's not like me not to do any post on American idol this year as I did every year. Yeah. . I wasn't going to BUT  the five girls I have 'picked' from the audition time have all made it this far.
I didn't want to say anything for the simple fact that should American 'picked' any one of them. . .they won't be 'wrong'. The girls have set the bar so high that it seem so natural to send the five men finalist home each week.
With no elemination on last week final four. . . it's everyone wonder if the judges too can't decide or they just want to collect more of american's votes.

Candice and Amber's die hard fans would be voting mad this week since they both were in the bottom two after the votes count last week.

Anyhow, for me everyone can be the winner cos they are all equally good.  However my personal pick would be for Kree Harrison although Angie Miller is showing everything an idol should be. Probably only their personalities would set them apart. I do feel Kree is more likeable in that sense thou.

Again , I can continue blah blah blahing on and on but it's still them americans who will determine their idol in the end.

LABOUR'S DAY 2013

Woke up at almost six thirty and wondered why my alarm did not rang this morning.
I had left my handband together with the phone in it at the kitchen table the night before.
That was how tired I must have been to have forgotten such an simple task as that.
Luckly  it's a holiday today therefore Lydia did not have classes or else she would have missed her ride and  I would have the task to send her to school myself. Phew!!

It's labour's day today.....thou nothing special for unemployed folks like myself.
With no 'farm' to managed..I started my morning chores earlier than normal thus ending earlier than the normal ten o'clock.

It was only Lydia and me at home, so lunch, dinner plus any other meals in between was simple. One packet of 'meehoon' fried with eggs and ikan bilis .

#############

Important news of the day (which actually was yesterday but because my phone was not with me then, so I never knew until today )....Yona have received the offer from KML...yeaaaah!!!
 - which makes it now a 'headache' to make arrangements with her current college inorder for her to sit for her finals, graduate and leave the college with a full cert in hand within two weeks from today .The duration of the course actually would need her to stay for another month or so .

Jeff  negotiated with the college that she be allowed to sit for it early so that she could register with KML on the stipulated date so that she need not worry about coming back to continue classes (during her semester's break) later on.
The first thought was to register in on the next semester  but we were told that the offer was only for this coming semester. Pushing that aside she might not be offered the same course again ...or worse gets the two year course instead.
After much deliberation , they feel that she was ready enough to sit for the final exams...in ten days time.

Brushed NayNay and bath Blinky...they both need REVOLUTION!!
