DEAD TIRED

woke up early.. 4.45am .... I must have 'passed' out the moment my head hit the pillow last night .

I last remember waking up for a few minutes just to dry my hair prior to getting back to bed at around eleven.
The room light were left on mode for the whole night of which I totally wasn't aware of.

I had to rush doing the routine as I need to go and check up on dad at the hospital before the visiting hours were up.  (visiting hours are from a 6 - 8am.)

I finally reached the hospital at exactly 8am after loosing my way through all the winding pathways leading to his ward.  Not until much later that I realized that there is a very  short way to the ward.
Dad was sleeping when I came. Poor him. That is actually all that he could do for now.

DAD ADDMITED AT D.O.K HOSPITAL

27 -3 July 2013

Coming back from KK yesterday, dad went straight to see the Doctor at Duchess of Kent Hospital in the morning. He has been complaining and feeling pain on his ankle for the past one week or so. Now that the pain is getting unbearable and the ankle is turning blackish..he's starting to worry. My sister Appy ( who is the nearest among us to being a Doctor) tricked him into seeing a specialist back in KK  a day after Ginnny's wedding. His achillies tendon was found to be raptured.

Coming back from the hospital in the afternoon, he was told to admit himself the same day as the operation was scheduled to be performed on the next day.
Not wanting his aid, Chia to send him there, he called Jeff and me to take him instead.
Dad says it's his first time in the hospital....awww..so cute but with a little sadness tagging

***he was put on 'no food and drink' diet to prepare him for his operation
***him still being able to move by himself, there was no need for anyone to accompany him tonight
*** we asked mom to come home prior to her Bali holiday even though dad had said not to tell her as it might spoilt her holiday mood.

I was with him in the next morning as I wanted to be around when the Doctors wheeled him in for the operation. I stayed on till it's was time to fetch mom from the airport around i.e 2pm and still they didn't come for him.
I was  back  with mom an hour later only to find out that they took him in for operation while I was gone. EEeehhhh.....
Operation lasted till almost six.
***multi tasking while sending mom ...sent mama cat Toufu to the vet...her ear has maggots!!

Dad's leg was casted up to his thigh thus making him an invalid. He was not to use the leg for the next six weeks.
-he looked so 'funny' yet so cute... wiggling about in bed. Kind of like those huge fat walrus trying to move around

MY FATHER'S DAY

.

With loving thoughts and in the simplest effort made brings out the importance of the relationship and the beauty of it all for the 'world' to see.

Father's day is actually tomorrow but  we  ( just the four of us) did our celebrating  tonight.
Dad had missed church this morning because of the ankle injury he sustained two days ago. It was all blackish and swollen that walking was difficult for him. Getting up the stairs to the BM church was definitely not going to be easy.
They were going to celebrate father's day in church today. Because dad did not go, mom too did not attend the pot luck thereafter the service.

With a cake and the goodness of simple fried noodles...HAPPY FATHER'S DAY DAD!

@@@@@@@@@@
Andrew did not come home this weekend because of his nephew Mark's engagement to Lydia held over in KK.
Lydia took home a present from church for her daddy. All blue she said...because daddy is a 'boy' and blue is for 'boys'

A 'present' for her daddy ..Tisha's version

No celebration would be complete without a drawing from me~ Dadi, just wanna say that eventhough we don't really talk that often, it doesn't mean that I don't love you. We don't always agree with each other but in the end of the day, we would tolerate the other and that's what makes us close. You've supported me through all these years, for which I'm truly grateful. Just remember that you're a very special person and that you have a wife and 3 daughters who love you very much and will always be here whenever you're in need, even when you don't realize it. Happy Father's Day!

DOUBTS AND WORRIES

#####
Having to deal with a new schedule at a new place and far away from home, Yona was feeling depressed I supposed. She called home and was tearing away unloading her 'sorrows' to me.
I felt very bad for not being by her side then.

OFFICALLY A GRANDAUNT

Opening up a message on FB this morning confirmed that I had just 'naik pangkat' to a grandaunty as my niece Genevive had delivered a 3kg baby boy in KK.
She had been induced to deliver but after hours of 'non progress' as they called it, she was finally given a C section . A 'C' that cost them a whooping sum of RM4+++.

My brother Dennis and his wife Liza were extremely excited at being grandparents for the first time....as with us the grandaunties and granduncle. Thou, nothing really compared to the happiness of the great grandparents . I can't blame them as not everyone is as lucky as them  to experience this in their lifetime.

Congratulations everyone!!
Baby was named Ethan Domanic.
Liza said he looked like Ginny but I say he doesn't. That's the daddy's face there

MY DREAM

It's a week since I came back from Labuan. Wow ...where did the days went?

#########
Had a dream last night....well it was actually early morning. ...around six I think . It was when I fell asleep again after I had woken up the second time. I always play my candy crush game to help me sleep .
In the dream I was trying to get over to my family members. They were in a group ( I saw my dad and my brother Atlas...I seem to recall Tisha as well but in my mind they were my family members)  sitting at the up most seats of a grandstand which looked like the one at the sports complex. While trying to get over there, I saw myself walking on planks set up towards them. Not just one but a set of wooden planks making it seem as pathways . Just like those they use when painting a building. One joining to another. While walking I can sense fear of falling down and was aware of the dangers should I fall as I saw water plus concrete blocks below. I was smiling with happiness when I managed to be with them....THE END.. my 6.45am alarm rang.

I'm sure there's a message somewhere in there but to see it as I dreamt it, don't really make any sense.

#################
I went online to find some senses.... but got more questions than answers instead.
Dream Dictionary Plank
dream plankA dream of planks, as such, is a warning to guard against a loss, possibly by robbery; extra precautions would be advisable. If you dreamed of walking on a plank, it signifies a period of indecision which in turn indicates a choice to be made concerning a new offer or opportunity; try to resist being pushed into hasty action.
