DREAM

Argument

To dream that you are arguing suggests that you are trying to resolve some internal conflict or some unsettled issue in your waking life. Consider the symbolism of whom you are arguing with and what you are arguing about. How does he or she reflect some person or some aspect of yourself in your waking life?

Priest

To see a priest in your dream represents your spiritual needs, sense of morality and religious beliefs. You are looking for guidance. It also symbolizes chastity and abstinence. Perhaps, you are feeling sexually repressed.

To see a dictatorial or condemning priest in your dream signifies unyielding authority and over-protectiveness. You may feel that you are living under unreasonable rules.

Religion

To dream of your religion represents your faithfulness and sense of spirituality. Perhaps your dream is telling you to be more religious or that you need to be more spiritual. Alternatively, the dream may be a metaphor for some behavior or habit which you are "religious" about.

To dream about a different religion from your own suggests that you need to incorporate some key component of that religion in your own life. The dream may also mean that you need to be more accepting and tolerant of the differences in humanity.

Afternoon Dream

****
walking to Yona from home to Tyne Garden Shop houses.
Wanting to buy food.
saw in the dream I was with mom too. Went to a table where I saw dad and atlas sitting down having a meal. Mum asked to tapau the food they didn't finish.  I saw a bunch of cats. Looking at them made me realise that one was mine. Looking around some more I saw coconut ( my Burmese cat).  Then I confirm that many of them were mine. My bikini boy, Kiwi , mama Dotty. My thoughts were some one did not close the door properly and boy what a distance they had travel to get there.
Rushing to get home. I had to go down  what look like straits but are actually square boxes stacked like decks of straits which were filled with cats....sleeping in every single box. I carried one white cat..which also looked like mine. She was purring....

I Miss you

Beautiful sunrise overlooking Angkor Wat
Aloneness and all-oneness is our authentic nature. We are always alone and all-one. We came into this planet alone and all-one. We will leave alone and all-one. And also during our whole staying in this world, no matter how we engage in relationships, we continue to be alone and all-one, though we may forget about it or pretend it is not the case.

True love has nothing to do with the idea that someone is the other half of my soul and that I need him or her in order to be whole and feel complete. Only when we can be alone and all-one with someone there is true love, regardless of whether that someone is still with us or not.

And yet... I miss you...

....just a moment's thought

Inside of all of us there is the need and the desire to be heard, to have our innermost thoughts, feelings and desires expressed for others to hear, to see and to understand. We all want to matter to someone, to leave a mark. Writers just take those thoughts, feelings and desires and express them in such a way that the reader not only reads them but feels them as well.

In my dream Andrew came . Vaguely I  remember that he held me in his arms and assured me that everything will be alright.

PEANUT THE UGLIEST DOG 2014

Peanut, a miniscule mutt from North Carolina has been crowned the World's Ugliest Dog® 2014 winner at the Sonoma-Marin Fair in Petaluma, California

Well it's here again....this year's ugliest dog has been crowned.
I can't say how times does flies. It's been a year since I did the same posting about this.
Fact is I wouldn't even have realised it if the headlines didn't appeared on the screen the moment I turn on my pc.  The actual competition was held on 20th June but hits the news only today.
As usual, I would just pick randomly the winner's pictures plus stories from the internet.... so big thank you to all the rightful owners.

This year's winner? A 2-year-old mutt named Peanut, whose wild white and brown hair, bulging eyes and protruding teeth belie his sweet, energetic personality.
Although Peanut is healthy now, his owner, Holly Chandler of Greenville, North Carolina, says he was seriously burned as a puppy, resulting in bald patches all over his body.
Chandler hopes Peanut's victory will help raise awareness about animal abuse.

"We're trying to use him as a poster child for what can happen to animals who are abused," she said. She plans to use the $1,500 prize to pay for other animals' veterinary bills.
The contest, held at the Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds in Petaluma, California, USA, is in its 26th year.
The dogs are scored by a three-judge panel in several categories, including special or unusual attributes, personality and natural ugliness.
The past five winners have included a duckfooted beagle, boxer and basset hound mix with a waddle, a Chinese crested and Chihuahua mix with a protruding tongue and short tufts of hair and a Chihuahua with a missing eye and a camel's back

Enough of ugliness.........uugggh I'm going to have a hard time sleeping tonight.
The last dog that gave me the same uuggh feeling was Sam...boy was he ugly. He lived to the title he won for three years in a row

Denmark wins Mr World 2014!!!

Denmark wins Mr World 2014!!!

Nicklas Pedersen, Mr Denmark, is Mr World 2014! With a fantastic presentation and the best speech, Denmark beat the odds and became a deserving winner. In 2nd place came Mr Nigeria, the biggest surprise of this year´s pageant, while Mexico, the number 1 favorite, placed 3rd.
Completing the Top 10, were the representatives of Netherlands, Curacao, Ukraine, Moldova, England, Puerto Rico, and India.
The early elimination of great delegates such as Argentina and Philippines, came as a shock.
Congratulations to Mr Denmark, now Mr World!

MISS ASIA PACEFIC 2014

I didn't get any thrills hoping and anticipating Malaysia to win this title. I didn't purely because it was so obvious that she doesn't  have what it takes to be the best above the rest.

Big thank you to Missosology for the article and photographs

See how it's only amongst them that did eventually win.

Tambunan is there although she was the only one that did not make it to the top five.
I had  actually put high hopes on her for the crown. Facial beauty is at par but she could have lost on the interview part.  Same case I surposed with Paitan.
It's very obvious how the girls from the 'interior' lack on this criteria .You could see the level of confidence the top five had.

KAAMATAN COMES AGAIN

This year the harvest festivities days were stretched a little longer because it falls on the weekend.
Having said that, it meant nothing but ordinary days for me and the girls since no pre plans were made.
When Andrew was still around this would always mean a road trip to one of the town in the interior region of the state for some  aramatii with his friends.
Hmmmm.... sadly it's one of the many 'things' that the whole family would miss doing since his passing. Still, It is something that  I could put on the list on the 'things' we could do in the future .

The girls had some fun with dressing up and taking pictures with their traditional costumes.

My everlasting flowers

*****
-the girls went on for their first driving lesson with Jeff at the sports' complex
-holiday mood= sleeping mood ( weather were too hot to be in the mood to do anything )
-rained heavily for a short period in the evening before we went out for dinner at Mc D

Saturday 17 May 2014

ANOTHER FULL WEEKEND

The weekend passed very fast when there was so many 'things' that we did.
Saturday morning was a sad day for one poor kitten that walked into my front yard.
She ended almost being ripped to pieces by the five guard dogs that was stationed there.

Still under my nightgown I had to 'fight' off all dogs before getting the kitty to safety.
In that rush moment, I got my right foot bitten .
Blood were dripping through the pathway as I make my way to the bathroom.
Not much scratches but a couple of deep wound that would need me to get a tetanus jab.

***
We message the vet for an early appointment for the injured kitten but she didn't make it. Though she looked alright at a glance , she passed away less than half an hour later. Internal injuries could be the reason.
I felt sadness for the pain my dogs caused her but didn't let that 'sink'. I was just glad that she didn't suffered long.
This was one of the times that I just hate them dogs.

****
The two older girls had their first  driving licence lesson this morning. The theory part of it actually. The driving instructor came just after seven to send them to the academy.

Send Lydia to school just before eight.
On the way home, Tisha called for their shoes to be sent. They had worn slippers and that was one of the top 'no no' thingy on their list while attending the class.

We managed to sent them just before the class begins.

Went to Bandar Kim Fung, Elopura Clinic to get my Titanus jab before going for some breakfast.

The girls came home around three in the evening and was a little tired to go for the Saturday zumba with Lily Linus at the sports compex.

- went for KFC dinner at Giant.
- Went to TKS to get some exercise outfit plus Tisha's official award receiving outfit :)

SUNDAY

-early morning but was spent lazing on my bed before doing the daily routine.
-with the girls's help we were done by nine.
- gave the Siamese their jabs. ( skin problems seems to be getting out of hand )
-Sent Tisha for her first cervical cancer vaccine.... that cost me RM200 (  two more to go!)

-went out for an early lunch of chicken rice at Kim Fung
-Went for another round of shopping for cloths. Tisha got her official blouse
-went over to have sate and ABC before going over to Sui Teck to get a bag ( 20kgs)  doggie's food
-We were home just before three. Few minutes of naps for everyone, we were off to the sports's complex for the free Zumba sesson.
- Diane and Sheryl came along
****
Lily Linus's class.....advanced.  Boy did they sweat. Again I did not join in because of my injured foot ( phew!)

*******
It's funny how a piece of glue paper could be so much fun .
Yona inherited my genes to enjoying  seeing flies diving towards them. Kamakazi!!!!

A DREAM

I woke up with a  click of someone opening my room door.
A sad event as I was having one of them strange dreams

***
Was attending a prayer group  for someone's passing when all of a sudden the event will move to my house for Andrew's prayer.
Came home to a messy house with not refreshment to offer for the prayer group.
I quickly pick up cleaning the messy hall before going off to buy coca cola (????)
The owner kind of ignored me when I went about to ask for the price. I then walked away.
A salesgirl chased after me stating that I took the coke without paying though I did not take any bottles with me. Somehow that got  sorted out and I walked towards home. Suddenly passing one guy who in my mind was a cop...he pulled my belt hard asking me to hand over my money.
I didn't feel scared but felt kind of happy as I know I didn't have my handbag with my valuables with me.
...this and that to another scene.. one prominent rich man gave me a blank cheque to fill any amount I want.
wow...and I remembered I was only thinking of RM100,000
then...remembering that I would need much more since Andrew was no longer around.

**********

INTERPRETATION FROM MR GOOGLE

  PRAYING

To dream of praying signifies surrendering some of your problems to God and trusting in His goodness and power to pull you through in your time of need. It may also suggest devoting more time for prayers.

MESSY HOUSE
A messy house dream probably indicates an area of my life that needs some organization.

COCA COLA
For a woman to dream that she is drinking coca cola signifies that she will lose health and a chance for marrying a wealthy man by her abandonment to material delights.

ROBBED
Your dream represents a struggle with yourself. So, this dream you have may just reflect your feeling of how you handling things.

CHEQUE
To dream about a blank check represents your unrealized potential. It could also represent awards that you have yet to accept.

To dream about a check mark suggests endorsement and approval. The work you've been putting in will be earning you rewards.

The Beginning of .....BRACES

After years of 'nagging' to get her teeth straight...I gave in to Tisha's wants.
Not so that I was willing to simply part with thousand of ringgit but more so to 'send' her out to the 'new world' with higher self confidence .
Thus the 'loan' was agreed upon .
Pay back would be arranged at the time when she starts bringing in the 'bread' home. :)
meantime I had to paid RM350 for the first consultation.

- called Grace Dental around nine and got an appointment at 11.30am
- Yona didn't want to come along . She had made a big bowl of chicken macarooni pasta and had wanted to enjoy finishing them.

****
Open my email and got an outstanding bill for Yona's  maxis broadband that she had ceases using since two months ago.
Andrew had changed her broadband to Digi and had not cancelled the Maxis thus resulting with the continuous billing.
AAArrrrrr.......typical of him
- went to Maxis to pay and cancelled the card but was unable to do so as I needed to bring along my birth certificate as proof that Annie Dunlop was my mother indeed.
- a year ago in Labuan , when we wanted to get the broadband, we had used mom's name to apply as I had forgotten to bring along my identity card that day and Yona was not eighteen yet.
Again...AArrrrrrrrrr.... unfinished work. I will need to get back to them again.

-Looked for my friend who was a driving instructor to get the girls with their licences.
RM1140 each till they obtained the licence.

-went over to Giant to get a few necessities before going home. Had Teh Tarik  before that.

Monday 5 May 2014

Re' Ducking'

The first agenda for the morning was to open joint savings account for the girls and myself.
It seems that was needed.
Martina met us at Public Bank and belanja us for breakfast moments after that.

- went over to Public Mutual Trust office to deal with some transfers.
In accordance with the percentage allocated earlier it was easy even with sixteen accounts that went to new owners.
- Martina gave the girls some introduction to the Trust Funds sighting examples with the 'duck'.
- they now have sixteen ducks each awaiting to lay golden eggs
- thus the term 'itik' was born

-Claiming EPF at their office was next
-done without any problems

Sunday 4 May 2014

First visit for the girls

Had told the girls that we would be going to visit Andrew's grave early this morning.
We need to come early to avoid the hot sun.

A surprise....Andrew has a new neighbour.
-we didn't get to 'weed' the grass nor water the flowers that I had planted because most of the surrounding had been covered with the dirt from the new grave.

light a candle and 'talk' with him for a few moments.

- stopped over at bestmart near dad's house to get the best ham sim piang in town ( claimed by my US based sister Appy )..for breakfast.

40th Day

The reason why I want to blog about this day is because I want to remember the events that led to my Tisha standing up for our religious beliefs.

It would be the 40th day tomorrow since Andrew left us. As an advent, We do not make any services for our dear departed on the day. Unlike Roman catholic.
My in laws have decided amongst themselves to put up an add on the paper, have a grand 40th memorial service for MY late husband.

I did not respond to the whole situation which I feel made them 'pissed'

-everyone left the family Whattsup group...ha

Thursday 13 March 2014

Thursday the 13th

Today I beat the morning alarm by more than half an hour. It was just after five that I woke up.
Before Lydia was off to school, I had done what need to be done on the front portion yard.
As soon as Lydia left, I left for the backyard portion.
Locked the front gate so that nobody would come in without my knowledge.

Finish early since I started early.

Ate early lunch of what's left of yesterday's fried rice.
I was ready by one thirty to get the kittens's neutering appointments.
Posting on fb took ten minutes, forgetting my lipstick in the house took another five. It was already 2.20pm by the time I reached the vet's clinic. I was number 5.

Waiting took like forever . I got in with the five kittens ( Flourry, Parsley, Potato, Tomato and Marshmellow) All they did ( which I had already known)  was write the kittens names on their individual card , weight them and noted the appointment date.

International Women's Day 2014

Celebrated by women's rights activists across the world annually on 8 March, International Women's Day (IWD) has been marked by the UN since 1975.

I don't feel like I need to write much more than this to explain why we women are celebrating today.

International Women's Day 2014 Theme: INSPIRING CHANGE

Women's equality has made positive gains but the world is still unequal. International Women's Day celebrates the social, political and economic achievements of women while focusing world attention on areas requiring further action.
Inspiring Change is the 2014 theme for our internationalwomensday.com global hub and encourages advocacy for women's advancement everywhere in every way. It calls for challenging the status quo for women's equality and vigilance inspiring positive change.
The vast array of communication channels, supportive spokespeople, equality research, campaigns and corporate responsibility initiatives means everyone can be an advocate inspiring change for women's advancement.
Each year International Women's Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8. The first International Women's Day was held in 1911. Thousands of events occur to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women. Organisations, governments, charities, educational institutions, women's groups, corporations and the media celebrate the day.
Some groups select their own International Women's Day theme, specific to their local context. For example, the European Parliament's 2013 theme was "Women's response to the crisis" and their 2012 theme "Equal pay for work of equal value".
The United Nations declares an annual theme:
- 2013: A promise is a promise: Time for action to end violence against women
- 2012: Empower Rural Women – End Hunger and Poverty
- 2011: Equal access to education, training and science and technology
- 2010: Equal rights, equal opportunities: Progress for all
- 2009: Women and men united to end violence against women and girls
- 2008: Investing in Women and Girls
- 2007: Ending Impunity for Violence against Women and Girls
- 2006: Women in decision-making
- 2005: Gender Equality Beyond 2005: Building a More Secure Future
- 2004: Women and HIV/AIDS
- 2003: Gender Equality and the Millennium Development Goals
- 2002: Afghan Women Today: Realities and Opportunities
- 2001: Women and Peace: Women Managing Conflicts
- 2000: Women Uniting for Peace
- 1999: World Free of Violence against Women
- 1998: Women and Human Rights
- 1997: Women at the Peace Table
- 1996: Celebrating the Past, Planning for the Future
- 1975: United Nations recognizes International Women's Day

Remembering today

Did not go back inbed when I woke up to the sound of the alarm.
Went out for early morning gardening.
- cut all the yellow kunyit like plants that was towering the front gate
- did a little pruning of the potted plants outside of the gate.

was almost eight when Jeff woke and we presuit to do with the animals needs.
-sprayed BajaHaiwan on all the cats
-applied ointment to the cats with mange ears

We did a little clearing of weeds to the back compound. Was not dressed to go into the bushes so we did not totally clean the place up.

By ten all was done.
-power nap was disturbed so I ended up playing my game on my hp

Already one plus when I went out to cook lunch. Waiting for Lydia so that we could eat while the dishes was still warm. Unfortunately the smell got the best of me and Jeff that we were already halfway eating when Lydia finally came home.

Watched a movie on Diva Channel 702.. One person Honeymoon ( I think)
nice storyline but too good to be true in reality.

Was already five when I went outside to repot my 'bonsai'
Found them to be overwatered. Aaarrrrr dangerous!!!!
Rearranged their position after repotting so that they get the full benefits of the sun

Almost seven was the time we went out to do the animals second round of feeding and cleaning

Andrew came home around eight thirty.
Not going out for late supper since he is on puasa mode for his blood test tomorrow.

slept after twelve - was on whatsup with Yona on subject relating to her resume to enter  u

Wednesday 19 February 2014

It's been a long time but it was still 'fun'

Today went as any ordinary day but there's a few 'events' that I want to remember this day by.
Firstly ...It was one of the 'rare' days that I'm feeling real sick.
well it's coughing mostly plus the extremely 'heavy head'

I went over to dad's place even with the heavy head because I know he'll appreciate the visit since I did not come over yesterday plus the fact that I have been away in KK since 16th

Dad called and asked us come over. Guess he's really feeling alone .
-with the maid doing the indoor ..I went over to do the garden . Lydia washes his laundry.
-did some sewing with his 'bladder belt'

Went back at around six

Monday 17 February 2014

FEELING 'CRAP'

Woke up as the alarm rang to find that Lydia is still not up. I went to her room to find her sleeping but in her school uniform. Arrrr...this girl is something else. she said she woke up early because her alarm had rang early. She said she had set the alarm an hour earlier .

My head is still 'trobbing' but I managed to move around doing what needs to be done even though Jeff said he would do them.
He was feeling more 'shit' than me . He has been 'down' since the day I left for KK . It's been five days and he's still sick.
We managed to do the cleaning and feeding early so were able to rest the whole afternoon.
I did some weeding and fertilizing before doing the evening feeding.

Dad called....he wanted to know when I'll be going back to KK in regards to the land deal we talked about last week . Seems it was coming to place.
Arrrrr... this is another case and I have not told Andrew about it.

MY BABY TURNED 22

How very fast the time has flown
The years seem such a whirl
Since you were just a tiny child
A precious baby girl.
How quickly you have blossomed
Through those tender childhood years
When every single day had moments
Full of joy and tears.
But all those nostalgic childhood days
Which have sped so swiftly by
Have seen you reach (13)(16)(18)(21)
All in the blinking of an eye.
So think about your future
Special things to see and do
New faces and new challenges
Just waiting there for you.
For your birthday is a milestone
And it marks another turn

How fast a year goes by. I remembered talking about her 21st and today it's already her 22nd.
She was happy to be home on her birthday after missing the actual date for the past few years.
Days earlier we had planned to do  her cake. This girl only wants a chocolate cake...if she was going to eat it.
I had planned for a 'pool of chocolate with piglets swimming' cake  with kitkat as side frosting but she insisted that she's not a 'pig' in any ways :/ hhmm

I finally get a nod with a 3D bear cake which I baked a day earlier.

Every year your Birthday makes us just a little sad because we know that you'll have grown up one more year, gone away from us a little more and would have made new friends to spend your time with.

CNY EVE & My First Cupcakes order of the year

All night I kept on waking up . I wondered why I couldn't really sleep. Was is because I worry  I might not finish my task in time the next day or something else.... I'll never know.

Anyhow as morning came I was very fast at my feet with all the chores. As usual when I have 'things' to do , it would most likely be a fast job with the animals.

I had planned to do the batter in half of the 80oz flour that was needed for the 200 hundred cup cakes that was ordered but had to change plan when I realised that the calculation was over estimated.
I only did a quarter on the second time.
Must praised myself that I can work very fast on the mundane stuff prior to the final touches.
I was all done before mid day.
It was Chinese new year's eve and the traffic was at it's worse but I had to get to the wet market to restock my animal's food.
The biscuits was running real low and I had used the last package of chicken for the morning's meal.
Yup....had to otherwish I won't .
Chinese new year here is one of 'the' main celebration that would see the town almost  'dead'.

This year it will fall on the week end plus the last day of January. That would mean it's going to be a long holiday . Three working days and a sunday in all. Having said that...the bank will be one of the busiest place to be.
I needed to bank in some monies to my ASB account too before the new month. Arrrrrrrrrrrr ....totally wrong timing.
Fortunately for me...I was able to do that without having to line up to a long q .

Back on my cupcakes final touches at eight. Wrong timing again I would say because I took more time than I had thought I would. I should have started sooner. - I was watching American idol ok!
Anyhow, underestimating the amount of frosting I needed was another time consuming error.
I had to do the recipe not twice but  trice!  errrrrrrrrr.....

It was already two plus in the morning when I was finally done and satisfied with the end products.
Cleaned up and was in lala land by three...zzzzzzzzzzzzz
- the guys and the girls came home from KK at almost five but I was too tired to get up
.

ANOTHER BIRTHDAY

Birthday Prayer
Thank you, God, for giving me another year of life.
Thank you for all the people who remembered me today
by sending cards, and letters, gifts and good wishes.

Thank you for all the experience of this past year;
for times of success which will always be happy memories,
for times of failure which reminded me of my own weakness and of my need for you,
for times of joy when the sun was shining,
for times of sadness which drove me to you.

Forgive me
for the hours I wasted,
for the chances I failed to take,
for the opportunities I missed this past year.
Help me in the days ahead to make this the best year yet,
and through it to bring good credit to myself,
happiness and pride to my loved ones,
and joy to you. Amen.

Thank you Lord ..for without you, I am nothing

Another year passed and it's my birthday again today....I thank God .
With the passing of my mom it seems another birthday gave me  more reason to be thankful for being alive.
I had lived another  year to see another birthday.

As usual it was Tisha who would send me the first wish.  My precious darling's messages have always warmed my heart.  This is one of those moments that you know you have raised them well for them to remember you with nothing but loving thoughts.
Andrew beat Yona this year... not quite a surprise as she has always been the one with the slowest 'server'. I really couldn't blame her  thou as internet accessibility was limited in her dorm as well as her phone was barred  from making any calls due to some technical problems.

It rained the whole day again today. The weather is so wet for the last months that kind of drag your mood for doing anything .
Today being my birthday, I had a good reason to do some baking. Which I did since last night actually. I had always wanted to try baking the rainbow cake but knows the 'fuss' that involves making one. So with a good reason backing me ....I did it....finally.
Basically on this birthday... 'I make my cake'

I baked six 'layers' of different 'strong' colours cakes

stacking them up resulted in me having two sets of cake. I had used too small size tins which if not devided in two would make it impossible to stack without unwanted 'accident'
I used creamwell to cover the cakes and butter icing to sandwich them together

Thank you all so much for taking a moment to wish me well and to evoke our connection, whatever it might be. Happiness never decreases by being shared.
All the birthday wishes from friends near and far, old and new, is really one of the high points of the year for me in this Facebook world!
Taaada!....it's ready

Dinner of my choice was 'ikan bakar' at IJM . Called dad to join us but as always he was 'lazy' to go out at night and asked us to 'tapau' instead.

Purposely switched candles
Blowing the candle with my favourite wish...health, love, fulfilment and satisfaction in life

Wonderful raimbow colors.....errr... not so used to eat such colourful cake but this butter cake is nothing but 'heaven'. Soft and moist with that strong buttery smell.
 I love it!!

I'm the proudest mom today....and I let the 'world' know about it when I shared this on facebook :)
