KAAMATAN COMES AGAIN

This year the harvest festivities days were stretched a little longer because it falls on the weekend.
Having said that, it meant nothing but ordinary days for me and the girls since no pre plans were made.
When Andrew was still around this would always mean a road trip to one of the town in the interior region of the state for some  aramatii with his friends.
Hmmmm.... sadly it's one of the many 'things' that the whole family would miss doing since his passing. Still, It is something that  I could put on the list on the 'things' we could do in the future .

The girls had some fun with dressing up and taking pictures with their traditional costumes.

My everlasting flowers

*****
-the girls went on for their first driving lesson with Jeff at the sports' complex
-holiday mood= sleeping mood ( weather were too hot to be in the mood to do anything )
-rained heavily for a short period in the evening before we went out for dinner at Mc D

ANOTHER FULL WEEKEND

The weekend passed very fast when there was so many 'things' that we did.
Saturday morning was a sad day for one poor kitten that walked into my front yard.
She ended almost being ripped to pieces by the five guard dogs that was stationed there.

Still under my nightgown I had to 'fight' off all dogs before getting the kitty to safety.
In that rush moment, I got my right foot bitten .
Blood were dripping through the pathway as I make my way to the bathroom.
Not much scratches but a couple of deep wound that would need me to get a tetanus jab.

***
We message the vet for an early appointment for the injured kitten but she didn't make it. Though she looked alright at a glance , she passed away less than half an hour later. Internal injuries could be the reason.
I felt sadness for the pain my dogs caused her but didn't let that 'sink'. I was just glad that she didn't suffered long.
This was one of the times that I just hate them dogs.

****
The two older girls had their first  driving licence lesson this morning. The theory part of it actually. The driving instructor came just after seven to send them to the academy.

Send Lydia to school just before eight.
On the way home, Tisha called for their shoes to be sent. They had worn slippers and that was one of the top 'no no' thingy on their list while attending the class.

We managed to sent them just before the class begins.

Went to Bandar Kim Fung, Elopura Clinic to get my Titanus jab before going for some breakfast.

The girls came home around three in the evening and was a little tired to go for the Saturday zumba with Lily Linus at the sports compex.

- went for KFC dinner at Giant.
- Went to TKS to get some exercise outfit plus Tisha's official award receiving outfit :)

SUNDAY

-early morning but was spent lazing on my bed before doing the daily routine.
-with the girls's help we were done by nine.
- gave the Siamese their jabs. ( skin problems seems to be getting out of hand )
-Sent Tisha for her first cervical cancer vaccine.... that cost me RM200 (  two more to go!)

-went out for an early lunch of chicken rice at Kim Fung
-Went for another round of shopping for cloths. Tisha got her official blouse
-went over to have sate and ABC before going over to Sui Teck to get a bag ( 20kgs)  doggie's food
-We were home just before three. Few minutes of naps for everyone, we were off to the sports's complex for the free Zumba sesson.
- Diane and Sheryl came along
****
Lily Linus's class.....advanced.  Boy did they sweat. Again I did not join in because of my injured foot ( phew!)

*******
It's funny how a piece of glue paper could be so much fun .
Yona inherited my genes to enjoying  seeing flies diving towards them. Kamakazi!!!!

A DREAM

I woke up with a  click of someone opening my room door.
A sad event as I was having one of them strange dreams

***
Was attending a prayer group  for someone's passing when all of a sudden the event will move to my house for Andrew's prayer.
Came home to a messy house with not refreshment to offer for the prayer group.
I quickly pick up cleaning the messy hall before going off to buy coca cola (????)
The owner kind of ignored me when I went about to ask for the price. I then walked away.
A salesgirl chased after me stating that I took the coke without paying though I did not take any bottles with me. Somehow that got  sorted out and I walked towards home. Suddenly passing one guy who in my mind was a cop...he pulled my belt hard asking me to hand over my money.
I didn't feel scared but felt kind of happy as I know I didn't have my handbag with my valuables with me.
...this and that to another scene.. one prominent rich man gave me a blank cheque to fill any amount I want.
wow...and I remembered I was only thinking of RM100,000
then...remembering that I would need much more since Andrew was no longer around.

INTERPRETATION FROM MR GOOGLE

  PRAYING

To dream of praying signifies surrendering some of your problems to God and trusting in His goodness and power to pull you through in your time of need. It may also suggest devoting more time for prayers.

MESSY HOUSE
A messy house dream probably indicates an area of my life that needs some organization.

COCA COLA
For a woman to dream that she is drinking coca cola signifies that she will lose health and a chance for marrying a wealthy man by her abandonment to material delights.

ROBBED
Your dream represents a struggle with yourself. So, this dream you have may just reflect your feeling of how you handling things.

CHEQUE
To dream about a blank check represents your unrealized potential. It could also represent awards that you have yet to accept.

To dream about a check mark suggests endorsement and approval. The work you've been putting in will be earning you rewards.

The Beginning of .....BRACES

After years of 'nagging' to get her teeth straight...I gave in to Tisha's wants.
Not so that I was willing to simply part with thousand of ringgit but more so to 'send' her out to the 'new world' with higher self confidence .
Thus the 'loan' was agreed upon .
Pay back would be arranged at the time when she starts bringing in the 'bread' home. :)
meantime I had to paid RM350 for the first consultation.

- called Grace Dental around nine and got an appointment at 11.30am
- Yona didn't want to come along . She had made a big bowl of chicken macarooni pasta and had wanted to enjoy finishing them.

****
Open my email and got an outstanding bill for Yona's  maxis broadband that she had ceases using since two months ago.
Andrew had changed her broadband to Digi and had not cancelled the Maxis thus resulting with the continuous billing.
AAArrrrrr.......typical of him
- went to Maxis to pay and cancelled the card but was unable to do so as I needed to bring along my birth certificate as proof that Annie Dunlop was my mother indeed.
- a year ago in Labuan , when we wanted to get the broadband, we had used mom's name to apply as I had forgotten to bring along my identity card that day and Yona was not eighteen yet.
Again...AArrrrrrrrrr.... unfinished work. I will need to get back to them again.

-Looked for my friend who was a driving instructor to get the girls with their licences.
RM1140 each till they obtained the licence.

-went over to Giant to get a few necessities before going home. Had Teh Tarik  before that.

Re' Ducking'

The first agenda for the morning was to open joint savings account for the girls and myself.
It seems that was needed.
Martina met us at Public Bank and belanja us for breakfast moments after that.

- went over to Public Mutual Trust office to deal with some transfers.
In accordance with the percentage allocated earlier it was easy even with sixteen accounts that went to new owners.
- Martina gave the girls some introduction to the Trust Funds sighting examples with the 'duck'.
- they now have sixteen ducks each awaiting to lay golden eggs
- thus the term 'itik' was born

-Claiming EPF at their office was next
-done without any problems

First visit for the girls

Had told the girls that we would be going to visit Andrew's grave early this morning.
We need to come early to avoid the hot sun.

A surprise....Andrew has a new neighbour.
-we didn't get to 'weed' the grass nor water the flowers that I had planted because most of the surrounding had been covered with the dirt from the new grave.

light a candle and 'talk' with him for a few moments.

- stopped over at bestmart near dad's house to get the best ham sim piang in town ( claimed by my US based sister Appy )..for breakfast.

40th Day

The reason why I want to blog about this day is because I want to remember the events that led to my Tisha standing up for our religious beliefs.

It would be the 40th day tomorrow since Andrew left us. As an advent, We do not make any services for our dear departed on the day. Unlike Roman catholic.
My in laws have decided amongst themselves to put up an add on the paper, have a grand 40th memorial service for MY late husband.

I did not respond to the whole situation which I feel made them 'pissed'

-everyone left the family Whattsup group...ha
