I have seen pictures of these cute little steam sponge cakes online but have never really came across one 'live'.
I wanted to try out this because they are so simple to do and importantly, I have all the ingredients needed ready in my drawers.
Today I will only attempt the polka dots version although I know there are other really nicer versions.
One would be the 'lady bug' version .. but I'll leave that for another day.
I chose pastel colours because I find 'loud' colour makes them look 'cheap'and 'kamp..." .
