The district inter school bowling ten pin was held over a period of three days.
It was a last minute entrance for Lydia therefore I had to do most of the paperwork for her to be able to compete myself.
To the extend of paying her entrance fee.
Initially I felt that she was not ready to join in the competition as she has just started learning the game seriously barely a month ago.
Her coach had a different opinion and insisted that I let her enter or else won't waste his time training her anymore. With that I had no choice but to comply.
All came out well when she earned a place for the Sandakan under twelve girls team after coming in third.
Yona on the other hand had no trouble clinging the top spot for the girls under 15competition winning by a far margin.
Not a double win as last year as she was not able to play the doubles as there was no fellow bowler from her school. Last year's partner had upgraded a level on the age catogary group.
