I do remembered many months ago hearing about Yoda's death on the radio but I haven't got get the chance to read or write about it. Yoda was the 2011 winner.

A homely Chihuahua and Chinese Crested mix that snagged worldwide acclaim for being deemed the “world’s ugliest dog” in 2011 has died at the age of 15. “She passed away last night in her sleep,” her owner, Terry Schumacher, wrote in an email to the Hanford Sentinel on Tuesday. “I will miss her funny little ways!”

The 2012 winner is Mugly, an 8-year-old Chinese Crested with a short snout, beady eyes, and several unkempt white whiskers, owned by Bev Nicholson of Peterborough, England. Apart from the title it also got $1,000 and a year’s worth of dog cookies. Mugly, however, is already a champ before this. Owner claims he was named Britain's ugliest dog in 2005

In 2013 Walle, a "huge-headed, duck-footed mix of beagle, boxer and basset hound" from Chico beat 29 other contenders to win the contest.
Judges said they were especially impressed by Walle's bizarre waddle of a walk. Said Judge Brian Sobel, "This dog looked like he's been photo shopped with pieces from various dogs and maybe a few other animals."
Walle wins $1,500 and will make several network TV appearances
On my personal note...he's just like Pablo, 2009 winner . Nothing ugly about him to be considered 'ugly'......... moreso 'ugliest'
