FINALLY SWEET SEVENTEEN

Today marked the day Yona turned seventeen. She had actually been talking about this day since a week ago. We did not planned to celebrate anything big as Andrew was not going to be around.

It was a week holiday for all secondary students due to PMR exams but she had tuitions on two of those days including today.
Her friends had planned going down town to celebrate the occassion at Mc Donald's together with another classmate who shared the same birthdate with her

As usual with any 'in house' celebration, we only  ordered pizzas.

Peace signs by the birthday girl
I have loved and cared for you since the day you were born.
I have watched you through out the years, laugh, cry and grow...
into a beautiful and wonderful young woman.
It 's a hard realization to know, that my little girl is not so little anymore.
